But i have so many cars i like to just look at them and show them off to friends because my cars r sick. It has allot of cars on it that r fun to look at and fix up but not all of them r that good. This game gets very hard towards the end so i had to race a whole bunch of regular races in carrer mode to buy a better car to just beat two races. This game is not the same as the ps2 version but that makes it more fun. This game is fun for a while but not very realistic and it gets hard towords the end. The cars and ways to fix them up is not as good as the ps2 but none of the psp games r that good at fixing cars up. After u beat the game there is nothing to do becides quick race and re do the races that u did in carrer mode. The graphics r not very good and the movies r cheesy but that is what the psp is like.
I bought this game at target for $11.99 why don't you offer better online deals. Hey you guys at amazon.
Shame about car options and optimizations, Brilliant graphics and looks very fast. Great gameplay and race options. Not too easy or too hard.
No Nikki, no Cross, no Darius, etc. Nowhere near as great as the PS2 version. They used the old Rockport map and changed the scenery and there was a whole new storyline.
If you win a certain number of events, you'll get to race the crew boss. There are a few exceptions but, for the most part, that's a well-known fact. During a street race that you and your brother, Mick, were competing in, something happens. While there might be better looking racing games out there and some that might be more addicting to play; I'll lay my money down for EA's Need for Speed series anyday. Need for Speed Carbon: Own the City, like NFS Most Wanted 5-1-0 before it, is a totally different game than its' console counterparts.
Why. You find out what happend was no accident and you set out on the streets to find out who is responsible. because- in the end- you get more out of EA's Need for Speed games than you do other racers out there. If you beat the crew boss, you'll take control of that district plus unlock new cars and upgrades for purchase. Overall, Need for Speed Carbon:Own the City is a solid game that does things somewhat better than the console games and is different enough from those games to warrant a purchase.
While it is the first portable NFS game to feature a sprawling city to roam around in when you feel like it(something NFS fans, including me, have been griping about since the first NFS game for the PSP) and the gist of the game is still the same, it takes place in a different city and the story is different(the way it's told is also different--instead of FMV in CGI environments, you have comic-book style art story sequences with voice work). Let me tell you, the city in this portable version is just as big as the one in the console version and, in some respects, alot better a city to race in. The games' overall presentation as well as its' graphics & sound are leagues better than Most Wanted 5-1-0 and Underground Rivals making this game the best NFS game yet. In this game, you're in Coast City. The only thing I seen wrong with the game is that, sometimes, the frame rate gets somewhat choppy when you're racing at higher speeds(course, that's understandable with as much detail as this game possesses). Your main objective in the game is to take on rival crews around the city with your own crew.
The accident leaves you laid up in the hospital with some nasty amnesia and your brother dead. I mean, the city just drips with personality.
